Thanks for your email.
Put simply, I am a huge supporter of bitcoin and crypto currency. I am opposed to the central banking and system of fiat currency.
Addressing your specific questions:
I believe Bitcoin is an excellent innovation. I believe in currency competition, and so my views if elected would reflect such a position, including the normalising of crypto as a form of currency.
I don’t currently accept bitcoin donations, simply due to accounting reasons and trying to keep my mandatory election filings simple – however, I have no opposition to donations (whether charitable or political) or commerce, being made in crypto.
I do not believe in the government regulation of crypto-currency. And as stated earlier, I favour decentralisation and moving away from central banking and fiat currencies – in favour of currency competition. This allowing for crypto and other currencies, such as those on a gold standard, to compete in a free marketplace.
Hope this is of assistance.
