Hi Isaac,
1) I hold a few different crypto’s, but no BTC at the moment (just spent the last of it and haven’t got more yet). The party doesn’t have a firm position on crypto’s,
but personally, I think they should be taxed the same as a currency, not as an investment. I am opposed to CBDC’s, I think that they are directly opposed to the idea’s
behind cryptocurrencies. I’m actually in favour of the privacy coins as well. Businesses would need to have a viewing key available for their purchases/sales/wages etc,
so we can work out tax due, but private citizens should be free to spend as they please.
2) I am not set up to accept any kind of donations. We are being funded by Clive. If you want to donate, I can set up a wallet to donate to.
3) I think asset backed stable coins are a massive risk to the crypto eco-system. They need some kind of regulatory oversight to ensure they hold the assets they purport to.
If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Regards,
Josh
